During my study at CodArts Conservatorium I got skills in music theory, composing and arranging. For helping me in giving me knowledge to live my creative way I would like to thank Walter Stuhlmacher. Also listening, analyzing and transcribing helped me a lot in finally creating my music.
My favorite music styles are all kind of world-music styles, jazz and funk and I love to combine them. Inspiration I got by traveling to different countries and analyzing music-traditions.
I love jazz-chords. Combining drums & percussions and arrange them with bass and guitar-lines is fun and challenging. On top of all I love horn-sections.

LATIN JAZZ NETWORK CANADA
Clearly Ara’s Circle is passionate about what they do. Their music is right on the pulse of the Afro-Latin and Brazilian heartbeat. Fronted by the percussionist Arndt Beckmann this ensemble recreates the cultural ethos and rhythmic classicism of the roots of all of this music. Their compositions are intelligent and the performances are quite spectacular because of the superb musical intellect of the musicians. Mr. Beckmann’s use of color is quite masterful and memorable. He makes his myriad instruments rattle and hum as he caresses congas and other smaller instruments that he coaxes to life spreading the cheer of his music to other members of the group.
